Kristin LeSueur is a sewist and fiber artist working across garment-making, foundation paper piecing, and quilting. Their practice is grounded in curiosity and sustainability, using reclaimed materials and traditional techniques to explore how fabric can hold memory, function, and form. Through thoughtful construction and experimentation, they create pieces that blur the line between everyday utility and expressive craft.
Their work has been featured in the Annual Regional Emerging Artist Exhibition (AREA) at the McLean County Arts Center, Busey Bank in downtown Urbana, Fiber February, and the Champaign County Fair. They continue to explore how fiber-based practices can honor craft heritage while imagining more sustainable futures.
